Rewire your new neuro identity.

Awesome Frame turns your Mac desktop into an identity reprogramming tool.

You look at it all day.
What’s it telling you?

Nothing. For most people, it isn’t telling them anything.

Dreams alone won’t make you the person who gets there.

  1. The default

It says nothing about you, or where you’re going.

  2. The dream picture

The outcome, with none of the practice. In experiments, idealised daydreams about the future left people with less energy to act. See the study.

  3. The random folder

It moves. But it doesn’t know who you’re becoming, or that it’s nine o’clock.

Frame

Who you’re becoming, in your own images and words. The right one at the right time of day.

Information you connect to yourself tends to be remembered better. Psychologists call it the self-reference effect. The studies used words, not images.

Changes through the day

Research on habituation shows weaker responses to repeated, unchanging input. It concerns attention, not motivation, and has not been tested with Frame.

In a study of students preparing for an exam, imagining the process improved studying and grades. The participants actively rehearsed studying; they weren’t simply looking at pictures.

Why would the screen you see most not be on your side?

How identity reprogramming works.

Frame makes it easy to practise who you’re becoming. It asks, it guides and it runs through your day.

Research informs the design. Explore the science

  1. Decide who you’re becoming.

Build identity takes you through the life you want, the person who lives it and what already proves it.

    Build identity

    Who are you becoming?

What have you already done that proves some of this?

What would an ordinary Tuesday look like?

Where do you already express one of these qualities?

Someone who makes twenty sales calls a day.

I finished the prototype on weekends in two months.

I talk to one insightful person before lunch.

I spend time with founders who’ve built what I’m building.

    The research

  2. Choose images that do a job.

Add a batch of images. Frame reads what each one is and sorts it into categories, then tells you what’s missing. Your rhythm decides when each category shows.

  3. Plan for when it gets hard.

Name what gets in the way and what you’ll do instead. Frame keeps your plans in view, not buried in a notes app.

    Build identity

When I want to stop, I make one more call.

When I open my laptop, I start my deep work time.

If I doubt myself, I reread what I’ve already built.

When a deal goes quiet, I pick up the phone.

    The research

A review of 642 independent tests found benefits from forming implementation intentions: plans that connect a situation with a response. Results varied with the outcome and how the plan was made.

  4. Keep your why in view.

Tell Frame why an image matters, in a line of your own. Switch it on and your reason appears with that image now and then. Otherwise it stays private.

Your day, designed around
your new neuro identity.

Your images and plans move through four phases. Set your own times, or switch to another part of the day when you want different images.

Change at each phase, or as often as every five minutes.

The research

People tend to stop noticing what never changes. And once you’ve decided what matters, you start noticing it more. Andrew Huberman explains this as the reticular activating system at work.

Rankin and colleagues, 2009

A few things to know.

What is Identity Reprogramming?

It’s the name of the method behind Frame, from Henry Reith’s Absolutely Awesome Framework: choose who you’re becoming, keep it in view and practise it. It names a practice, not a claim about your brain. Read what we mean.

Is Frame available yet?

Not yet. We’re building the Mac app. Join the waitlist and we’ll email you when it’s ready to try. There’s no payment to join and no launch date promised.

How is this different from a vision board?

Images are part of it. Frame also guides you through the life you want, who you’re becoming, the evidence already present and what you’ll do when something gets in the way. You choose which images and words appear through the day.

Do I need a vision board already?

No. Build identity starts with questions about the life you want. Or use Quick start with a few meaningful images and return to the questions whenever you like.

Is this just for work?

No. Frame is for the whole person: your work, creativity, health, relationships and time to rest. You decide what belongs.

Will it drain my battery?

Frame is a native Swift app built to stay light. Changing a desktop image a few times an hour is a small job for a Mac.

What happens when Frame isn’t running?

Your desktop keeps the last image Frame showed. Open Frame again and it picks up where you are in your day.

Can I put my old Mac background back?

Yes, it’s not gone. Choose any background in System Settings, then Wallpaper, and Frame steps back. Apple’s guide to changing your desktop picture

Does it work with multiple Spaces?

Changing the desktop image can switch off macOS’s “Show on all Spaces” setting. Frame explains this before the first apply. We’re still testing display and Spaces behaviour before release; we won’t promise seamless support ahead of those results.

What happens after the trial?

Automatic changes stop and your current desktop image stays. Your collection, answers, export and deletion remain available. A licence unlocks continued use.
